Golola shifts to Extra Combat Fighting

He has travelled to Kenya to start training

Kickboxer Moses Golola has gone a step closer to becoming a pioneering Ugandan fighter in Extra Combat Sport.

Extra Combat Sport is a new fighting discipline that combines several martial arts including all kickboxing styles accompanied by judo, taekwondo, karate and wrestling with its origins in USA and Canada.

Golola accompanied by his manager Maurine Mulangira Sanita said after bringing kickboxing into the lime light, he now wants to introduce Extra Combat in order to tap talent from many youths.

"Because the sport is not yet registered in Uganda, I will be competing in Kenya that was speedy in forming a federation. I will participate in the inaugural championship series at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi on October 15th" noted Golola at a press conference at Hariss International Complex, Kawempe.

Golola has travelled to Kenya to start training for the sport at the Colosseum Gym in Nairobi courtesy of Rock Boom.

"Golola is a multi-talented athlete and out to look for new talents. He has not abandoned kickboxing and boxing but to show and help other players to excel" noted Mulangira.

She said registering the federation in Uganda is in the pipeline.
