Crested Cranes star Nabweteme moves to the US for studies

Nabweteme is likely to future for Uganda in the 2016 CECAFA Women's Challenge Cup starting next month

Uganda Crested Cranes forward and former Kawempe Muslim skipper Sandra Nabweteme has departed for the USA for further studies at South Western Oklahoma State University.

The two time FUFA Women Elite League top scorer and the 2015 FUFA Women Footballer of the Year will major in Engineering.

Sources close to the player revealed that Nabweteme is likely to future for Uganda in the 2016 CECAFA Women's Challenge Cup slated to begin on 11th September.

She joins a host of other foreign based female football stars such as Barop's Natasha Shiraz in Denmark as well as Viola Nambi and Rita Kivumbi who play in Sweden.
