Why Maj. Gen. Muhoozi is not interested in the presidency

Although there has been speculation about President Yoweri Museveni grooming his son Maj. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, he has come out to say he has no interest in the office.

Muhoozi, who is the commander of the Special Forces Command has risen through the ranks and has undergone various training courses both within and outside the country.

After his piping ceremony following his promotion recently, he said he was happy serving in the army and had no ambition of being president.
