Kadaga visits Busoga shrine for thanksgiving

Kadaga comes from the royal Baiseigaga clan, the biggest in Busoga, which is believed to have its roots at Nhenda hill, where all clan members are mandated to visit at least once a year to either pray for their desires or to thank the gods

A day after retaining her position as the Speaker of the 10th Parliament unopposed, Rebecca Kadaga on Saturday went to her clan roots (Enkuni) at Nhenda hill.

Nhenda hill is found in Nakigo sub-county, Iganga district. Kadaga comes from the royal Baiseigaga clan, the biggest in Busoga, which is believed to have its roots at Nhenda hill, where all clan members are mandated to visit at least once a year to either pray for their desires or to thank the gods for their achievements.
