MUBS will go into the game as clear favorites, being two-time winners of the title.

KAMPALA - Uganda Christian University (UCU) will play holders Makerere Business School (MUBS) today in the University Football League.

The Mukono-based side lost 1-0 away to Gulu University in their first game. MUBS, on the other hand, started their campaign with a thorough 4-1 victory over Kampala International University (KIU) at Luzira prisons ground.

Now they will meet a side they have played only once before - last season.

Then, their game ended in a stalemate after either side failed to find the back of the net.

MUBS will go into the game as clear favorites, being two-time winners of the title.

Their opponents for today's tie will be without their captain Joshua Kigozi who is out with an ankle injury. But head coach Jackson Nyima says his side will put up a spirited fight against the reigning champions.

"We have never failed to qualify from any group stage since we joined," he says, exuding confidence.

Meanwhile, MUBS skipper Ismail Kawawulo says they will fight to the end. "We want to top the group with maximum points."
