FIFA gave the aid project to Uganda through the FIFA Challenger Project that will see several countries have an artificial turf pitch in a bid to develop the sport in partner countries.
The artificial turf will be the second such playing surface in Uganda after Njeru Technical center in Jinja. The club management plans to install floodlights at the same venue.
