State Minister for primary education, John Chrysestom Muyingo has said that he expects a 90 percent victory in the Bamunanika parliamentary elections which pits him against his former political assistant. 

Muyingo who voted at Kakoola polling center in Bamunanika sub-county, Bamunanika county in Luweero District on Thursday, also said he expects his President Yoweri Museveni to win overwhelmingly. 

Muyingo, who is standing on the NRM ticket, is facing his former political assistant, Robert Ssekitoleko who is standing as an independent. 

"My people like me because of what I have done for them. They have confidence in me and I know they will give me 90 percent," a confident Muyingo told journalists.

Muyingo reminded parents about Monday's beginning of the new term. 

"When the voting exercise is completed, the parents should remember that the new term starts on Monday," he said.
