USPA GALA to have a foreign sports guest

The much awaited prestigious 2015 Nile Special Uganda Sports Press Association Gala due on April 23, at a venue yet to be named, will have a foreign guest of sports repute.

USPA President Sabiiti Muwanga disclosed this on Monday at the Nile Special USPA monthly assembly held at Imperial Royale Hotel where rally driver Ronald Ssebuguzi and his co-driver Leon Ssenyange were named sports personality for the month of January.

"We are yet to know the venue because we expect to change it because we want this year's Gala to be bigger than ever and we expect a special foreign guest of sports repute," Muwanga stated.

He added that the gala will also be attended by other foreign journalists on the African continent.

Don't get surprised when its Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, Messi or  any other sports figure.

Last year the world governing body (AIPS) president Gianni Merlo was a Guest at the event held at Imperial Royale Hotel where Vice President Edward Ssekandi was the Chief Guest.
