The Electoral Commission has warned Lubaga South parliamentary candidates Kato Lubwama and John Ken Lukyamuzi against campaign violence and hate speech.

Relations between the two candidates have been frosty since nominations and the incumbent Lukyamuzi claims that the comedian is disrupting his rallies.

"Kato Lubwama has been warned to stop interfering with our rallies and he should not fear to apologise to us" Lukyamuzi said.

In a hearing chaired by the EC boss Badru Kiggundu both parties presented their cases where Lukyamuzi asked for protection at his rallies and an apology from his competitor.
