UCA Women champions Pioneer Cricket Club continued with their winning ways, registering two convincing wins in the Mehta Premier League on Saturday.

Charity 25/6 Pioneer 41/2 (Pioneer win by 16 runs)
JACC45/9 Jinja SS 98/3 (Jinja SS win by 53 runs)
Charity 34/4 Pioneer 49/4 (Pioneer win by 15 runs)
JACC 43/5 Jinja SS 122/3 (Jinja win by 66 runs)
UCA Women champions Pioneer Cricket Club continued with their winning ways, registering two convincing wins in the Mehta Premier League on Saturday.
Barbra Mukamunsi was in fi ne form scoring 18 off 19 balls against Charity, winning man-of-the-match and then extending her scores to an impressive 30 runs after scoring 12 in Pioneer’s second game still against Charity.
“It’s a good start for us and am happy the girls have managed to contain the fatigue from the National Cricket League” said Gertrude Chandiru, captain of Pioneer.
The Mehta Premier League attracted six teams.
