PRESIDENTIAL hopeful Charles Bbale has been blocked from being nominated for the second time.

The Electoral Commission chairman Dr. Badru Kiggundu rejected nominating Bbale on grounds that he had not followed the proper procedure for paying the nomination dues.

Bbale turned up at Namboole Stadium to give a second shot at nomination with a bank cheque worth 20 million but this was rejected because he is required to pay the money in cash.

Dr. Kiggundu said, "Mr. Bbale there are no games in this process. You are supposed to pay the dues in cash. We've given you enough natural justice but I am afraid I must say you can only get nominated by a miracle."

Asked to comment on why he could have been rejected, an irritated Bbale responded; "I have not rejected myself. Why don't you ask the chairman?"

Bbale was rejected on Tuesday at the opening of the nomination process after he presented photocopied bank slips of another payment that wasn’t to the Electoral Commission.
