Moses Oloya hopes to plunder more trophies with Vietnam Premier League champions before seeking a career dream move to Europe.

After years of hard work and personal sacrifice, the Ugandan midfielder’s precious qualities have finally been rewarded and deservedly so.

Oloya, who sealed a historic treble with his Vietnam club Becamex Binh Duong after winning the Super Cup, FA Cup, and league title, a couple of weeks ago, told New Vision on Thursday that: “It has been a remarkable season for me. I want to take a break and return fresh to win more titles with the club before moving on.”

As a reward for his significant contributions throughout the season, Oloya was consequently named the Vietnam League’s player of the season and inevitably named in the team of the season.

“I am proud of all my achievements. I feel so proud to have been voted the best in a league that has Brazilians, Argentinians and several other good players.

“I feel a better player now. I want to have one more successful season, play in either China or Korea before heading to Europe,” he added.

Oloya will return to Vietnam at the end of this month and prepare for the Toyota Mekong Club Championship due in November.

The tournament will have four teams from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar, with matches being held in all four countries.

Representatives of Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar will compete with each other in the first stage in November. The best team will then play Becamex Binh Duong in Vietnam in the second stage. The winner will advance to the final against Thai-League Cup champions in December.

The tournament’s winner will receive US$75,000 (sh274m).

Last year, Oloya’s Binh Duong beat Myanmar’s Ayeyawadi 4-1 in the final to claim the lucrative title.
