Nabagereka, Sylvia Nagginda has advised married couples to always work together in their individual homes and create small businesses that could help them uplift the standard of their families.

She said many families in different countries have developed into large entrepreneurs and are stable economically because they engage themselves in small businesses to sustain their income, thereby alleviating poverty.

“Many homes in industrialised countries like Brazil, Turkey, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and many others have attained recognised sustainable economy because their citizens have created a sound economic base by developing themselves in their individual homes through small scale businesses,” Nagginda said.

She emphasised that even our people here can undoubtedly attain recognisable standards in general, if they started engaging in small scale businesses.

Nagginda made the remarks at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku in Lubaga division, where she launched the Buganda trade fair dubbed PEWOSA project on Thursday.

The three-day occasion was arranged to coincide with a community-based microfinance fair known as Stromme microfinance fair.
