World Vision Uganda- Eastern Region supports 18 child focused development programmes with operations in 04 clusters in 07 districts. Mbale- Butaleja cluster covers Butaleja and Mbale districts within Kachonga, Naweyo and Budumba and Busabi sub counties.

WORLD VISION CHAMPIONING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN BUSIA

Introduction:
World Vision Uganda- Eastern Region supports 18 child focused development programmes with operations in 04 clusters in 07 districts. Mbale- Butaleja cluster covers Butaleja and Mbale districts within Kachonga, Naweyo and Budumba and Busabi sub counties.

Tororo programmes cover Paya and Sop Sop, Nabuyoga, Kirewa and Iyolwa sub counties in Tororo district. Busia cluster undertakes programmes in Busia and Bugiri districts in Nankoma, Lunyo, Busitema, Sikuda, Buwunga, Nabukalu and Busia Municipal council. World vision Soroti Programmes implement in Kamuda, Tubur, Gweri sub counties (Soroti district), Asamuk and Morungatuny (Amuria district).

World Vision Mbale/Butaleja transforms lives of the community

Background
World Vision Mbale/Butaleja Programmes have been in existence for over 8 years now since 2006 covering the Districts of Mbale and Butaleja. It operates in the four sub counties of Budumba, Busabi Naweyo and Kachonga in Butaleja District and Namanyonyi Sub County in Mbale District.

World Vision Butaleja Cluster is contributing to National office strategic objectives: Improved health and nutrition status of children under five and women in reproductive age, Improved Food security and community resilience among the most vulnerable population, improved equitable access to and quality education for Girls and Boys and Increased protection, care and nurture of boys and girls through continued interventions in critical sectors of: Education, Child protection, Health and WASH, Food Security/ Livelihoods and Sponsorship..

World Vision leading transformation of lives in Tororo

World Vision Tororo programs preamble.
World Vision Tororo programs started to operate in Tororo district way back in 1999; in one sub county of Iyolwa where the project implemented activities to respond to the HIV and AIDS related issues. Later after three years, a fully fledged Area Development Program was established in Lyolwa Sub County, carrying out five different projects including; Sponsorship, Education, HIV and AIDS, Health, Agriculture
