Following a hugely successful Badilisha album launch last Friday at Kyadondo rugby grounds, Jose Chameleone has unveiled his new residence in the swanky suburb of Muyenga.

The pencil thin artiste made the statement on Wednesday during a house warming that doubled as his birthday party and celebrating the successful album launch that attracted thousands of fans.

The storied house boasts of a swimming pool, two sitting rooms and dining areas; servant quarters and several bedrooms. While dining at this new home he lashed out at haters who claim he is running broke and that his new residence is a rental. He said:

“Those who wish to know how rich I am can go to the US embassy and secure visas then go right ahead and inquire about my property there. They can also go to Rwanda and Tanzania where I have homes.”

He added: “They should not mix their laziness in my business because I am a hard working man.”

Late last year in December the singer was forced to flee his home in Seguku, another posh neighbourhood, fearing for his life.

The mansion boasts of a swimming pool

This followed a bizarre incident of a man he called an intruder who mysteriously himself torched after he was found loitering in his compound.  Reports claimed the man was there to hurt his cute wife Daniella Atim.

However the story was heavily disputed by residents who claimed the ‘intruder’ was well-known to Chameleone’s family and he always did odd jobs at his home.  The case is registered at Kajjansi police.
