1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated funds to be used for the Construction of stone pitched masonry drainage works along selected estate roads at NALI, Kyankwanzi.

2. The Ministry of Works and Transport invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of invites your sealed bids for the Construction of stone pitched masonry drainage works along selected estate roads at NALI in Kyankwanzi.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.

4. You may obtain further information from the Ministry of Works and Transport and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 8(a) from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by you on the mission of a written application to the address below in No. 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX.100,000/=. The method of payment will be by use of Bank Payment Advice Form payable at URA Stanbic Bank, Entebbe. The document will be issued on presentation of the URA receipt as proof of payment. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No. 8(c) at or before 11:00 am, 10th May 2013. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 4,000,000. Late bids shall be rejected.  1. The Ministry of Works and Transport has allocated funds to be used for the construction of the second bitumen sealed surface on the Sika Mudali – Bwanda Covent Road (2.85km) in Vira, Masaka District.

2. The Ministry of Works and Transport invites your sealed bids for the supply of construction materials for application of the second bitumen seal surfacing:

Lot No. 1: Crushed stone aggregates of size 10/14mm.

Lot No. 2: Bitumen 80/100 pen.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open international competitive bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.

5. 6. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 3rd May 2013 at 11.00am at the address given in No. 8(c) below.This meeting is compulsory for all intending bidders.
