FIFA judge Chuck Blazer is due make a decision on the future of Cranes midfielder Hassan Wasswa.

Global football governing body FIFA have appointed the American to rule over Wasswa’s struggle to secure an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) from Turkey side Kayseri Erciyesspor.

FIFA had ordered the Turkey Football Federation (TFF) to explain their decision to deny Wasswa the ITC.

Wasswa has since December failed to return to active club football at El Merriekh of Sudan and now his former club KCCA as he pursues a move to Europe.

TFF have refused to issue Wasswa an ITC following a disagreement between the player and Erciyesspor.

“Our affiliated club has terminated the contract between Wasswa and itself. For that reason, Erciyesspor objected to the issuing of the ITC for player,” TFF general secretary Emre Alkin said in response to FIFA’s inquiry.

Erciyesspor explained that they had terminated their contract with Wasswa because the player failed to honour several official invitations back to the club.
