EAST African Breweries (EABL), the producers of Tusker Malt Lager (TML), have unveiled a new emblem for the brand.

During the launch at Club Silk on Wednesday, Seni Adetu, the group managing director, said the new bottle is now 330 millilitres.

“The new emblem shows a racing elephant with a black halo around it. Below the image are the words Tusker in brilliant yellow glow and malt lager in fine print on a green background,” he said.

Giving TML a new emblem and bottle is part of the breweries ongoing brand development strategy, Adetu said.
Ivo Buratovich, the UBL managing director, said: “By giving TML a new livery (motif) and bottle design, we believe that we are responding to the way the true TML consumer wants.”

“A consistent gold medal winner in the Monde Selection International Beer Awards, TML is made from special quality malted barley, hops, yeast and water. Malt is produced from barley,” he said.
