ENOCK Mutangana, one of the best students from St. Henry’s College, Kitovu in Masaka district, said he was inspired to perform well to please his mother, reports Ali Mambule.

“My mother used to struggle to pay my fees. I vowed to please her by scoring good marks.”

Mutangana scored aggregate 15 in eight subjects.

“I expected to perform better than that but aggregate 15 is also not bad. It has given me the courage to read harder and get better results in A’level,” he adds.

Mutangana said he wants to join university on government sponsorship to save his mother from looking for tuition fees.

He added that he would join Namugongo Senior Secondary School for A’level to pursue his dream of becoming an electronic engineer.
