LUKY Mugarura, 17, a former student of St. Mary’s Kitende scored aggregate 11 in his best eight subjects in the just released ‘O’Levels. When he visited The New Vision with his mother, he appealed to the Government to increase apparatus in science laboratories. Mugarura said practical subjects can be best passed and studied if the students access apparatus and use them in their practicals. “Every child is different and each child develops at their own pace,” he said. Mugarura attributes his good performance to hard work and support from the school teaching staff. He wants to study civil engineering at the university and hopes to go back to St. Mary’s Kitende for A’level.
