SHE is a Mbarara-based singer. She studied music from S.1 to university and holds two degrees in music and a postgraduate diploma in education.
Dorrys Mutahunga won a PAM Award for best folk pop artiste in 2007 and has since become a household name at functions, especially Kinyankole kuhingira ceremonies, weddings and concerts.
Mutahunga entertained the Queen of England during her visit to Uganda in 2007. Her recent hit song, Ambassador, is one of the local FM radio and TV stations’ favourites.

Mutahunga’s earrings cost sh75,000, although you can get similar ones at sh10,000 from shops in Kampala. She
bought her shoes at sh150,000 from a shop in Kampala.
However, similar shoes cost
sh30,000 in city arcades.
