I am 22 years old. I got gonorrhoea when I first had sex five years ago. I have tried treating it using medical drugs and traditional herbs in vain. I still have pus coming out from my private parts and feel pain when urinating. My sex life has deteriorated. I fear that I may not be able to have children. I am really worried. Please help

Gonorrhoea is one of the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) which can be healed completely. Failure to heal may be caused by a wrong diagnosis (there is another bacteria which causes similar symptoms). It can also be due to incomplete treatment which causes the disease to become more resistant. This can cause complications including infertility. Your problem has been there for a very long time. Please see a urologist (specialist in reproductive organs). Follow the treatment that is given until the problem clears completely.
