UGANDA Squash Rackets Association has been asked to invest in youths in a bid to develop the game.

The call was made at the launch of the second Bank of Uganda (BOU) Open championships at Kampala Club.
The tournament will run May 17-22.

“We must have young players here at Kampala Club and in this tournament, the association has to design a programme to attract them if they want to attain success,” BOU governor Tumusiime Mutebile, said.

BOU have sunk sh11m in the event that will also set the association’s activities this year in motion.

Last year’s winner Bruce Chikabuka of Zambia is expected to defend his crown against several local rivals.
