MTN, we are sick and tired of the mud, dust

I appreciate the wonderful services that MTN Uganda provides to the public. However, I want to bring to MTN’s attention that in their effort to improve service delivery to us, they should respect public property.

I appreciate the wonderful services that MTN Uganda provides to the public. However, I want to bring to MTN’s attention that in their effort to improve service delivery to us, they should respect public property.

Improving service delivery involves things like installing underground optical fibre cables. About a month and a half ago, MTN Uganda circulated a letter informing us about their pending excavation to lay optic fibre cables along Rubaga Road.

This letter also stated that they had sought permission from KCC and were committed to leave the pavements the way they found them.

It was a day’s work but since then nothing has been done on the pavement! I contacted the official who signed the letter and he promised to contact the contractor to come and complete the work.

It is now more than a month and nothing has been done. Many people are affected by the mud and dust the excavation left behind as the contractor only worked on petrol stations!
