NDEJJE University will have to overcome the challenge of two formidable opponents in a bid to win the inaugural Inter University volleyball title.

The two-day show, starting today, is due at Ndejje’s Luwero campus.

Ndejje have to watch volleyball power house Nkumba university and Uganda Christian University Mukono (UCU).

“It is going to be tough but we cannot just host and leave others to finish on the podium,” Ndejje Sports Tutor Mark Kayongo stated.

The competition will help participants prepare for the East African Games set for Nairobi in December.

Fourteen Universities including Gulu, Kyambogo, KIU, IUIU, Makerere, MUBS, UCU, Nkumba, Busoga, and hosts Ndejje are ready for action.

However, Kyambogo have quietly been preparing for the event and vowed to take on any opposition.

The universities’ sports tutor Daidi Ssana, said they are keen to finish the event with a bang.
