ONE of the coaches at English Premiership club Bolton Wanderers Steve Obertelli will next week take Ugandan youth coaches through training skills at National Council of Sports head offices, Lugogo.

Obertelli will be accompanied by Reading coach Paul Hughes for the Premier Skills Project organised by British Council.

The Premier Skills is a project by the English Premier League and British Council to train youths across the world in football and language skills for a better future.

Over 30 youth coaches and referees across the country will take part in the training that comes a year after a similar one was held in Kampala.

British Council operation director Anne Babinaga said that the referees will be handled by UEFA referees Ray Olivier and Keith Hackett.

There are over 100 youth soccer academies who stand chance to benefit from this project.
