Former President Godfrey Binaisa has counselled those criticising the Movement to do so when they are in the system, writes Josephine Maseruka.
He said, “ I am a front soldier and I believe in peace and any peace-loving Ugandan must join the Movement as I did. Let those who criticise it join the system so that they criticise when they are within.”
Binaisa was giving his 10-minute eulogy at a funeral service of his late wife Irene Marjorie Kabamoli, at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Namirembe.
Kabamoli, 66, died of stroke-related causes at her daughter’s home in London on January 26. Binaisa hailed the Government for its assistance, including the sh30m contribution to burial costs.
