STREET kids loitering around opposite Nandos, a popular Kampala take-away, surprised expatriates when one of them grabbed a big pack from a female tourist.
The pack was full of burgers, which she had just bought for herself and her friends who were waiting in a car outside.
It was about 2:00pm when the kids spotted the woman come out of Nandos with a huge packet. They rushed to her, snatched it and ran off with it.
The woman swore at them in four lettered words, “Those silly gang kids,†she said. People on the street laughed at her foul language, but later consoled her seeing how disappointed she was.
Fortunately, the tourists had plenty of money so they bought another pack of burgers, which was very jealously guarded.Ends
