A leading audit group, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) on Saturday held its annual recruitment fair at Makerere University main hall.

The event attracted hundreds of university finalists from Makerere University and other private universities like Nkumba, Bugema and Nkozi eager to learn about career opportunities at PWC.

The PWC recruitment fair is the only event of its kind that allows students a chance to assess their potential employers and learn about the opportunities available at the firm.

“Being perceived as a great place to work by the general public is a view that our employees normally share with us, and this applies not only to existing employees, but also to the PWC alumni,” the group’s boss, John Hallows said while making a presentation. Eliza Namugenyi, a manager in the firm said that PWC is not just about audit.

She said that the group also offer careers in advisory services such as corporate finance and recovery as well as opportunities to become tax experts.

“With our excellent client base, our staff have opportunities to work and interact with people of all walks of life,” he said.

“Our client base includes top multinational and blue chip companies that also value the strong business ethics that we stand for,” she said.
