LIRA LC5 chairman Franco Ojur has appointed a new district executive, retaining most secretaries who served the short-lived late Charles Odwe Arago’s regime.
Ojur announced the executive last week, during the council meeting that also passed the district budget for 2003/2004 in the main council hall.
Former secretary for health Rebecca Otengo Amuge, representing Adekokwok sub-county, was appointed vice chairperson, while Walter Amiko Owidi was appointed secretary for works and technical services, replacing Angilo Ogwal Ocen, who moved to finance.
Other are Tonny Ogwang Adwari for health and security, Alfred Adoli Ogwok for education and Janet Akello Atyang, for production.
