Is Tapuwa playing victim in the Big Brother house again or is she really that beleaguered? Even though she is not so perfect herself, there are those who would argue she is more sinned against than she sins.
The 26-year-old Zimbabwean might not have to worry so much about Alex, the 21-year-old Kenyan’s bullying anymore (he has rested his case of late). Bruna, who patronised her the most might have left but she still has the rest of the house vying for her blood!
The two girls Warona and Cherise do not think much of her and it’s that obvious. But now that the two West Africans, Bayo and Sammi have joined the torment-Tapuwa queue, she was bound to lose it. And she did.
Apparently, after their Tuesday night fight with Bayo, he went and told on Tapuwa. He told Sammi (of all people) that she always gossips about the housemates she dislikes most. Of course, she had quite a lot to say about Cherise and Warona’s false facades in front her.
Now, we all know Sammi has always had a thing for Taps. Problem is (like Bayo), he has always thought she is attracted to white men! And, that is the direction this whole saga took, with Bayo openly declaring, “This thing is about colour. Tapuwa doesn’t like black, black men, like me. She likes white men.†But we all know Taps has been attracted to Stefan, the white Namibian for a while. Is Stefan safe?
Anyway, poor Taps could not handle the pressure anymore, she asked Big Brother (again) to organise a therapist for her. He urged her to “try to use her resources and coping strategies,†but Taps argued she had given all that a go but felt like she was at breaking point. Biggie obliged. She had her session later in the evening for a whole hour! Did it help? Well, judging by her interaction with housemates in the Jacuzzi, she looked like she would cope. Do her two successive nominations have anything to do with this?
