COMESA debate due
KAMPALA – Uganda will on August 20 join other 19 member countries of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) to debate on how the market’s common investment area will affect existing trade agreements with non-COMESA countries.

Firm eyes wheat trade
KAMPALA – Pan Afric Commodities Uganda Limited, a company that produces AYA home-baking flour is working with an American company to start growing wheat in the Eastern Uganda. The company’s managing director M.M Hamid said in an interview recently, following an increase in consumption of grain wheat products in Uganda, it was important that wheat was grown locally. Ends
