We all have different blessings

Sir — This is a reaction to the letter by a christian brother who is against the idea of pastor Kayanja owning a personal jet. Other pastors like Gary Skinner have also been condemned for amassing wealth.

First, I would like to pray for the brother that the spirit of envy leaves him and let him be content with what God has blessed him with. I think we as christians do not expect other christians’ blessings to be divided amongst us. We are hardworking people and deserve our own. King Solomon in the bible was very wealthy but some of his subjects were homeless.

Yet it is the same God who gave solomon and did not give others as much. So Kayanja does not need to be greedy for him to be successful. What I can say is, Kayanja prayed to his God for an aircraft and God is ready to bless him. If Kayanja can get a jet, you can get something better. Just ask God for it. And lastly, if you promise God that nothing will draw your attention from Him, then Kayanja’s blessings should not.
