A DOG on thursday exhumed a body of its master’s employee in Masindi district.
The Late Alikanjero Acati, a resident of Kiguunia village in Pakanyi sub-county had mysteriously disappeared for two weeks and efforts to look for him were futile.
On Thursday morning his employer Edward Kisembo was inspecting his garden and found the dog digging up Alikanjero’s body from a shallow grave.
“I saw my dog concentrating on something when I moved nearer, I was welcomed by a stench of a dead body only to find out it was Alikanjero’s,†Kisembo said.
Earlier Alikanjero’s brother with whom he was staying one Aguta, had said Alikanjero had gone to visit distant relatives.
Kisembo doubted him saying whenever Alikanjero was going away, he would first inform him.
Masindi acting Police commander Simon Peter Okoshi said they had arrested Aguta to help with the investigations.
