THE fight for the sh1m Yakobo pool Cup prize continues this weekend with holder Moses Kiggundu facing Noor Muhammad.

Kiggundu’s match will open the third round action at Yakobo Joint in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb.

The cup holder faces the less experienced Muhammad as the Yakobo Joint sponsored event resumes after the second round last weekend.

Kiggundu ejected George Kisawuzi 4-3 while Muhammad eliminated Gerald Kawesa 4-1.

The winner after the November 8 finals will bag sh1m. The runner up will pocket sh0.5m while the third overall player is assured of sh0.2m.

Also back in action is last year’s quarter finalist Jonan Turigye who comes up against Alfred Gumikiriza.

Turigye advanced after an easy 4-0 victory over Francis Ssengendo while Gumikiriza beat Nicolars Othieno 4-1.
