DECEMBER 12, is D-day for Natasha Karugire’s House of Kaine.
Speaking to the press at Rock Garden Cafe on Tuesday, Natasha Karugire said “this is the first time I am showcasing my designs in Uganda. We are doing it to show Ugandan’s that we not only have the talent but also to encourage up coming designers.â€
She said they will use local products as well as imports. The highlight of the show will be when the chief guest, President Yoweri Museveni will demonstrate his knowledge about fashion and exquisite design taste by selecting the winning fabric on the catwalk during the show.
Odrek Rwabogo whose TERP PR firm are handling the public relations for the event said “the event is expected to be graced by a number of foreign buyers.â€
The event will be held annually annual one every December 12.
The show will be sponsored by Speke Resort Munyonyo, Kampala Casino and MTN.
Tickets will be at sh200,000 per couple and sh120,000 for singles.
