Gayaza draws Kololo in girls cricket tourney

CHAMPIONS Gayaza High School will have to prove their credentials infront of Kololo SSS as the inter-schools girls cricket championships gets underway Saturday at Lugogo, Makerere and Kyambogo ovals.

Group A: Gayaza, Makerere College, Kololo, Kings College Budo and Ndejje SSS.
Group B: City High, Jinja SSS, Masaka SSS, Nalinya Lwantale.

CHAMPIONS Gayaza High School will have to prove their credentials infront of Kololo SSS as the inter-schools girls cricket championships gets underway Saturday at Lugogo, Makerere and Kyambogo ovals.

Captains from nine schools turned up at Lugogo yesterday for the draws ahead of the second edition of the tournament sponsored by World Health Organisation (WHO).

Gayaza High School will take on new entrants Kololo SSS before meeting Makerere College and Ndejje SSS in the group of death.

Group B has charging City High alongside three new entrants in Jinja SSS, Masaka SSS and Nalinya Lwantale.

Following the vibrant Mini Cricket Development Programme (MCDP), UCA decided to increase the number of playing schools from six to ten this year.
