KKL Gets Award

THE Kampala Kids League (KKL) has yet again landed an award for its outstanding work it has done for the society.

THE Kampala Kids League (KKL) has yet again landed an award for its outstanding work it has done for the society.
The award was given to the KKL commissioner Trevor Dudley for his initiative of providing sporting opportunities for children in Uganda. The award that is a fellowship by the Washington DC, USA based Ashoka, an organisation who identify and support the top social entrepreneurs around the world.
Ashoka presented the award to Dudley at Hotel Africana together with four other new recipients from East region.
“This is such an honour to have been internationally recognized for the hard work that has been in Uganda,” Dudley said after receiving his award. “This will raise further the awareness of our future plans to help develop sports and life skills training for kids and this has given me much needed support to try and achieve this aim.”
