MASAKA - The district councillors are to suspend the activities of Uganda National Forum for traditional health practitioners over increasing cases of child sacrifice. The forum led by Maama Fiina at the national level and Florence Nakayinga in the district, is accused of failing to supervise and regulate traditional practitioners in the district.

LC5 boss urges on education

NAKASEKE - The district LC5 chairman, Ignatius Koomu, has asked the Government to reinstate the school Facilitation Grant that was scrapped in most parts of the country. He said the grants were still needed to alleviate the acute shortage of classrooms and teachers’ houses. Koomu made the request during celebrations to mark the 23rd anniversary of the National Resistance Movement on Monday.
