UGANDAN teams Victoria and Rwenzori face-off in the opening matches of Bamburi rugby super series.
The tournament that Kicks off today will have all the eight teams battle each other in various grounds in their respective pools.
Pool A has Twigas of Tanzania, Nguvu Sharks, Rhinos and Lions of Kenya while Pool B has Rwenzori and Victoria of Uganda, Buffaloes and cheetahs of Kenya. Victoria assistant coach Brian Tabaruka has promised the star-studded Rwenzori a good run at the Kyadondo rugby grounds. “We have selected a good side that will give them a show down.â€
Rwenzori is largely made up of players that form the bulk of the national side.
