THE Uganda Rugby Union vice chairman Fox Ojambo has cautioned national team players who are yet to turn up for training to do so before Friday.

The Rugby Cranes are preparing for the 2011 World Cup semi-final qualifier against Tunisia at home on June 13. Some senior players including Timothy Mudoola, Tony Lugya, Edmond Tumusiime, Allan Musoke, Roger Rukundo, Keneth Mutabaruka and John Musoke have not tuned up for training yet.

“We are giving all those players that were summoned and have not turned up for national duty up to Friday or be chopped off the team,” Ojambo warned. “We don’t have time to waste speculating that player x is coming or not. We are running out of time yet we have a cut-off mark ,” added a charged Ojambo. He said that all Cranes’ players will be required to sign dossiers.

“We are finalising with the contents of the dossier. Players have to know how much they will earn in case of a win, draw or loss; and when they win with bonus points and their transport allowances. This will give them an avenue to sue the union in case of a breach,” he explained.

Those in training of the 35-man squad earlier summoned include Denis Etuket, Brain Odong, Ronald Adigas, Alex Mubiru, Robert Seguya, Mathius Ochwo, Moses Soita, Anthony Kinene, Philip Karumuna,J oel Anguyo, Rodney Turyatemba, Simon Wakabi, Timothy Dumba, Ronald Mwisaka, Allan Masiko, Emanuel Leku, Joel Kimuli, Solomon Mawanda, Andrew Olweny and Paul Barigye.
