EDITOR—The standards of our education are nose-diving. many factors are associated with the phenomenon. Some say it is because students go without lunch at school or that the questions set are too hard.
EDITOR—The standards of our education are nose-diving. many factors are associated with the phenomenon. Some say it is because students go without lunch at school or that the questions set are too hard.
However, there is one issue people do not put into account which, with time, will make an already bad situation worse.
This problem is the love and support for European football! It is a disgrace to see children of all ages flocking video halls to watch football without time to spare! Soccer, African or European, cannot be justification for our children’s behaviour and will not help them to become useful citizens in their country. parents and teachers and all wellwishers must act.
