Mbidde in race for the FUFA presidency

SPORTS Club Villa fans coordinator Dennis Mbidde has joined the fray for presidency of soccer governing body FUFA.

SPORTS Club Villa fans coordinator Dennis Mbidde has joined the fray for presidency of soccer governing body FUFA. Mbidde becomes the third contestant to show interest in the hot seat.

The former FUFA marketing guru joins Alex Kasujja and Godfrey Kwizera in the battle to take on the incumbent Lawrence Mulindwa.

Kwizera is a former FUFA vice president while Kasujja is a former official of the defunct Super League side Villa International.

The FUFA elections will be held later this year.

* Misinde football club emerged champions of the Zone 13 mini league after beating Seeta United 1-0 in the final yesterday.

Misinde, Seeta and losing semi-finalists Ntawo and Mukono qualified for the Buganda regional league.
