UGANDAN fans will have to wait a little longer before they get a feel of the Barclays Premiership soccer trophy. The trophy, that was due in Kampala this week alongside legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, will not come as “a result of the recently confirmed reports of an outbreak the Ebola disease in Uganda.”

Barclays Bank released a statement confirming the cancelation yesterday.
The Bank had already invited fans and the corporate class in Uganda to attend the display on Sunday at Lugogo.

The orginal plan with G4 club—fans of Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Liverpool— had fallen through over a dispute about the budget.
