Why does Kanyeihamba ignore his own age?

Supreme Court Judge George Kanyeihamba continues to court controversy, departing from a long-held tradition in the judiciary, by continuously making controversial political statements.

Supreme Court Judge George Kanyeihamba continues to court controversy, departing from a long-held tradition in the judiciary, by continuously making controversial political statements.

He therefore deserves to be answered in similar terms.

Kanyeihamba seems to be an annoyed old man, who thinks that Museveni is too old and tired to govern. but he is older than Museveni by a decade and nearing retirement age for judges but thinks he is fit to be appointed chief Justice of Seychelles.

Why doesn’t he accept the Seychellois authorities were right in going for a younger judge in the name of Justice Egonda Ntende whom they just appointed as Chief Justice?

Kanyeihamba seems to have a personal grudge against Museveni, defying the legal tradition that a unanimous court decision holds in election disputes, by saying Museveni’s election should have been nullified in 2006.

This is in spite of the fact that the judges, including himself, voted four to three to uphold it.

Kanyeihamba voted against Museveni’s re-election alongside Judges Arthur Oder and J.W. Tsekooko.

Are we right to think that the ruling of Kanyeihamba and his two buddies were more ‘political’ than legal?
