WHO knew Kid Fox would finally make it big? That is the question PAM Awards nominee, Stephen Kiggundu, aka, Kid Fox, asks himself in Ezinunula, one of his latest hits.

A highly inspirational song, Ezinunula says you would never know what ultimately redeems you, so keep doing what you are doing with enthusiasm.
The hit, along with 15 others that include favourites like Nimechoka and Love is a Good Feeling, will grace the dancehall raggae artiste’s concert at Steak Out tomorrow at 7:00pm.

For sh10,000, revellers will also get treated to curtain-raising acts by Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, Peter Miles and Menshan, Henry Tigan, Bella and Desire Luzinda.

Dubbed Kid Fox Live in Concert, the show is the first in which Kid Fox will have an exclusive feat for his fans.
Kid Fox started as a rapper in his Senior One at Wairaka College, Jinja, mimicking Vanilla Ice, before going Ragga-Reggae in A’Level.

By the time he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Makerere University in 2001, he had recorded some bubble-gum testing-testing songs that, however, did not see the light of day.

But he knew he would release a hit one day — and that would be after adding another academic discipline. The Year 2003 saw Kid Fox graduate with a post-graduate diploma in Law from the Law Development Centre.

Sure that he had an academic discipline to fall-back to in case music failed, Kid Fox hit the road, the outcome of which was 2005’s Love is a Good Feeling, Rumours and Brothers and Sisters.

Then 2007’s Nimechoka,/i> conquered hearts with its counter-hypocrisy message, winning him a PAM award nomination as Best Reggae Artiste. The same song was nominated for a KISIMA Award.

Now with Ezinunula and Busu catching on like a wild fire, a live concert for Kid Fox just a week before he leaves for a five-months tour in the US is really worth it.
