When Club Rouge was launched a few years ago, it hit the club scene with the force of a hurricane, attracting the kind of clientele that any club would kill to have - the ones with loose purse strings like foreigners and diplomats.

Snoops claim the club soon caught the shrewd eye of businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, who reportedly offered an attractive package to proprietor Ali Alibhai to sell. Alibhai reportedly turned down the offer, preferring to hold on to his lucrative club.
