SINGER Bobi Wine’s Republic of Uganja crew last week confiscated and hid singer Jose Chameleone’s digi (street bike). Chameleone had gone to the studio (owned by Wine’s brother Eddie Yawe) to record a song with singer Iryn Namubiru and parked his bike outside the studio.

When Butchaman and Nubian Li, members of ‘The Republic’ arrived and learnt that Chameleone was in the studio, they reportedly asked where he had parked his car.

They were however informed that he had come on a digi. The two then reportedly lifted and hid the bike. When Chameleone moved out, the bike was no where to be seen.

He demanded to know where it had gone, but nobody replied him. The singer then called Eddi Yawe. Upon his arrival, Yawe immediately ordered the guys to bring return the digi, which they did respectfully.

The Ghetto president himself was however absent throughout the fracas.
