UGANDA Kobs’ friendly against KCC FC today should assist Laszlo Csaba rebuild the core of his Olympics-bound U-23 team.

German tactician Csaba has been forced to consider restructuring his team, whose skeleton has been damaged by the late withdrawals of Lawrence Segawa, Patrick Ochan and Dan Wagaluka.

Soccer governing body FUFA on Sunday omitted the trio from the side preparing to face South Africa’s Amagalug-glug in an Olympics qualifier on February 7 for over-age reasons.

“I was informed by FUFA late that the three are not legible to play. Omitting the three players now is a big blow for our preparations,” he moaned.

“It has basically broken the skeleton of my team.”

Ethiopia-based defender Hassan Wasswa has been ruled out of the game with an ankle injury, while Boban Zirintuusa, Derrick Walulya, Osama Farouk, Friday Onyango, Andrew Ssali, Joseph Owino and Nicholas Kabali are unfit.
