The foundation for Community Development (FCD) in Gulu on Saturday handed over various sports equipment to Gulu Police Primary School in Gulu Municipality. The equipment, that comprised balls, goal posts, nets, football pumps and whistles, was handed over to the school headteacher Penina Piramoi by FCD’s L.S. Loum.

UNA’s drive
The Uganda Netball Association is looking for sh28m to enable it participate in the Africa zone V netball championships due in Zanzibar later this month. Association general secretary Rosette Kaala said they have written to several companies, but are yet to receive a feed back.

Jogoos fall

Dokolo refs.
Fifteen people in Dokolo district have completed a week-long football refereeing course.The course, conducted by FIFA instructor Haruna Mpangire at Angwecibange PS,concluded on Saturday. The coordinator, Leo Alani, said a lady, Ketty Awicho also participated in the course.
